The Niles Cruise Nights car show returns to Golf Mill Park on Wednesday, Sept. 16, with free live music, food trucks and a classic car showcase running from 5 to 8 p.m.

The event at 9101 N. Greenwood Ave. features cars 25 years and older, face painting and a free live concert, according to the Village of Niles event calendar. No registration is required for guests or vehicle exhibitors. Admission is free.

The village listed Wednesday's show as a rescheduled date. A Monday car show was canceled due to weather in late August, and the village directed residents to the Sept. 16 event on its official Instagram account.

Weather updates will be posted on the Village of Niles website and social media channels. A Veterans Celebration is also listed on the Patch Park Ridge calendar for Saturday, Sept. 19, at The Sheridan at Park Ridge, 510 N. Greenwood Ave. Details for that event have not been independently confirmed.
