Niles Village Board calls special Friday meeting after July quorum failure

The Niles Village Board scheduled a special 4 p.m. meeting for Friday, Aug. 14, after its Tuesday, July 21 regular meeting was canceled when only three of six members showed up, falling short of the four-member quorum needed to conduct business.
