The Park Ridge Lions Club will offer free hearing and vision screenings at the Park Ridge Public Library on Friday, Oct. 2.
The screenings run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the library, 20 S. Prospect Ave. No appointment is needed. Walk-ins are welcome on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the Patch event listing.
The club, active in Park Ridge since 1947, funds vision and hearing services through fundraising events including its annual Candy Days drives, according to the organization's website.
