The Niles Chamber of Commerce and Industry is hosting its Cruise Nights Car Show at Golf Mill Park on Wednesday, Aug. 19, offering a free evening of classic cars, food and live music from 5 to 8 p.m.
Admission is free.
The event at 9101 Greenwood Ave. in Niles requires no registration for guests or exhibitors, according to the Village of Niles event listing. The village's page notes the date is a rescheduled one, though it does not specify the original date. Residents can confirm details by calling the Niles Chamber at 847-588-8010.
The Niles Chamber promoted the show on its Instagram account, inviting families to bring friends and their love for classic cars for a free evening of fun, food and music.
The Cruise Nights show is one of several car events running across the area this month. The Village of Niles also hosts a separate Monday Night Car Show at the Golf Mill Shopping Center AMC Theatre lot, featuring 300-plus cars, food trucks and live music from 5 to 8 p.m. That series' Aug. 10 show was postponed due to weather and rescheduled to Monday, Aug. 17.
Park Ridge has its own series. Cruisin' Park Ridge, sponsored by the Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce, runs the first Friday of the month from August through October, 6 to 9 p.m. at the Park Ridge Public Library parking lot. The next show falls on Friday, Sept. 4.
