About 136 colleges and 42 other exhibitors are expected at Maine West High School on Wednesday, Sept. 9, for District 207's annual College Fair and Postsecondary Expo.
The event runs from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Maine West, 1755 S. Wolf Road in Des Plaines, and is open to all District 207 students, according to the district's website.
Students from all four District 207 schools can attend: Maine East and Maine South in Park Ridge, Maine West in Des Plaines and Ralph J. Frost Academy.
Families should note the venue carefully. A Patch calendar listing published Monday, Sept. 7, carried two entries for the expo with conflicting addresses. One listed Maine East's Park Ridge address; the other listed Maine West's Des Plaines address. The district's own page confirms Maine West as the location.
The 2025 expo ran at Maine East from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., according to a Maine West school calendar entry. This year's event ends 30 minutes earlier.
The District 207 Board of Education meets Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 6 p.m. at the district office, 1177 S. Dee Road in Park Ridge.
